ER: Everybody reads. We spent approx. the first 15 minutes of each class period reading self-selected novels. Students will complete a novel project over the book read this term. We will read chapter 2 of The Pigman. All About Me is a sharing activity.

- "The Walam Olum"
"The Walam Olum" is a Native American pictograph. Students will read and discuss the poem and then take a quick quiz. Afterwards, they will have the opportunity to create their own pictograph.
