We will soon be starting our research papers. Students will be creating two outlines to help with the organization of their papers, a working outline and a final outline. We will review the guidelines for outlines and then create a Halloween outline to practice.

- "From Africa to America"
We will read and discuss an autobiographical piece written by an African American who was kidnapped and sold into slavery at the age of 11. Ten years later, he was able to buy his freedom. After reading and discussing, there will be a quiz.
